They point out that the laws and regulations for the LGBT community are not the same throughout the kingdom.

On Wednesday. in Nieuwspoort, the Hague, the promoters of the Kingdom Boat lobbied for equal rights and better education in schools. Actor Raymi Sambo is sailing on the Kingdom Boat, together with people from Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius.

On Wednesday afternoon in Nieuwspoort, the Hague, Minister Jet Bussemaker of Emancipation and the ministers plenipotentiary of Curaçao and Sint Maarten were handed a package of requirements by the initiators of the Kingdom Boat. Through these, they ask for more information about sexual orientation in schools and they advocate for improving the legal status of LGBT’s.
