The house was packed with an enthusiastic crowd. After strong performances from the three finalists, Oleana walked away with the crown. She rocked her songs from the Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood and Meghan Trainor for her grand finale.

Scout’s Place owners Barbara and Wolfgang Tooten shared the duties of Masters of Ceremonies (MCs) and kept the crowd engaged all evening.

Joel Tellez received the award of second runner-up for his inspired performances of Michael Jackson’s “Beat it,” Ozzy Osborne’s “Crazy Train” and Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” during which two of his classmates performed a mock boxing match.

Mandy Zamani put on a strong performance singing Gloria Gaynor’s “I will survive,” Alicia Keys’ “No One” and Guns and Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Trophies and total prizes of US $5,000 were awarded to the three finalists and Scout’s Place is planning more events in the upcoming future. Sabaoke will continue as always every Friday night.

Scout’s thanked all their sponsors, supporters and staff who made it a “very memorable” event on the “Unspoiled Queen.”
