Saba ushers in holiday season with Christmas tree lighting

The Saba Lions Club held their Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree at Eugenius A. Johnson Centre in Windwardside on Friday, December 11, writes The Daily Herald.

The tree was officially lit at approximately 7:30pm. Despite the intermittent rain showers, carols were sung and a large crowd was in attendance to enjoy the festive event.

A variety of food and beverages were available and Lions Club volunteers worked very hard to keep everyone happy and wellfed.

The enthusiastic crowd was entertained into the night by a variety of local talent and a good time was had by all.
