Road works for installation of fibre-optic cable on Saba

During the upcoming weeks, there will be construction forz some meter walls and fibre-optic cables to be installed by SEC and HES Con throughout Saba’s road infrastructure.

This week, fibre-optic cables will be installed from Carl Hassell’s residence to Juancho Yrausquin Airport. From Friday, March 31, until Monday, April 3, construction continues from Chad Hassell’s residence to Carl Hassell’s residence.

On April 4 and 5, construction is planned from Chad Hassell’s Residence to Mountain Road, and on April 6 and 7 from Mountain Road to the Tourist Office in Windwardside.

Fibre-optic cables will be installed from the Tourist Office to SEC’s warehouse April 10-12, from the SEC warehouse to SEC’s office April 13-20, and from SEC’s office to the power plant April 21-26.

These dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. The public is advised to exercise caution within the working areas. The Executive Council of the Public Entity Saba apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
