Heleen Cornet exhibits in Arti Legi, Gouda, The Netherlands

Arti Legi presents from April 6 to May 7, 2017, the exhibition “Weide en Wildernes” (Meadow & Wilderness) The works of three Dutch artists are presented. They use different techniques to express the beauty of meadows and wilderness.

For decades, Heleen Cornet lives on Saba. Her source of inspiration is the tropical rainforest of this special entity of The Netherlands and the Caribbean Sea. Heleen knows as no other person to convey the beauty of that wilderness through her colorful oil paintings and watercolors.

Visual artist Bert Denneman, looks with an artistic and ecological view to nature. His ornate bronze sculptures of birds express his own wonders about nature.

Artist Han van Hagen is fascinated by those natural areas where man has little influence. With his craft mastery of line and plane movements, he succeeds in evoking a poetic atmosphere in his etchings of plants, animals and landscapes.

These three artists have in common that they inspired by unspoiled nature. More than 100 works of art by Heleen Cornet, Bert Deejay and Han van Hagen are placing the wealth of the meadow and jungle central.

The exhibition was opened on April 6 by Annette Herfkens, author of the book “The Turbulence”.

Arti Legi is located on Markt 27 in Gouda, The Netherlands. They open daily from Thursday to Sunday, 12.00-17.00 hour. Admission is free. For more information: www.artilegi.nl
