“CN Express” connects Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba

The Ministries of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Infrastructure and Water Management and the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland contribute to a temporary air connection between Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba that is made possible by Winair. The air connection starts at the beginning of January and is called “CN Express”. This domestic flight connects the three islands of the Caribbean Netherlands directly with each other.

After the hurricanes Irma and Maria the important international hub of St. Maarten has disappeared. As a result, an urgent need arose on Saba and St. Eustatius for an extra access for optimizing work traffic, the tourist sector and medical referrals. By deploying this air connection, an impulse will be given to the tourist sector of Saba and St. Eustatius and give the local economy a stimulus. This connection is important for RCN and the ministries working on  the islands, also from the point of view of cost control.
The aim is to fly from Bonaire to St. Eustatius in a frequency of four times a week and vice versa. On St. Eustatius a direct connection will take place to and from Saba. For flight schedules and fares, please visit www.fly-winair.sx
